'agency life' began about 1978 as a designer for gayton advertising in leicester working on many blue chip accounts such as british gas, scholl footwear and walker's snack foods. when the british gas account left the agency, martin followed it so to speak and worked for the company who gained it, namely garratt baulcombe associates in nottingham and increased his portfolio with accounts such as deb chemicals, blue hawk diy products and cavendish woodhouse furniture. leaving gba, he was offered a position as creative group head at alexander colbear advertising, but after just 3 years was persuaded to go back to gba who had now amalgamated with foote cone & belding of london and later with publicis, paris. he finished his 'employed' status so to speak as creative director for a small advertising and marketing agency in the centre of nottingham and left there to set up in 1991. tel. 01949 861147 | email.
